HOLDEN - Yvonne M. (Price) Moe-Reinhold, 98, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital after an illness. Born in Tewksbury, Yvonne was the daughter of Esther Price and lived over 30 years in Holden. Her husband, Ralph Reinhold died in 2008.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by a son, Ronald E. Moe of Worcester; two daughters, Diane L. Cornejo and her husband, Luis of Holden and Karen E. Moe of Worcester; two grandchildren, Jillian Dinkle of Manley, Australia and Jaclyn Sullivan of Worcester; two great grandchildren, Chase Sullivan and Delilah Dinkle; several nephews and nieces. Besides her mother, Yvonne is predeceased by her first husband of 45 years, Warren P. Moe, and two sisters, Marjorie Braley and Helen Boucher.
Yvonne was the office manager and bookkeeper at Heywood Valley Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Worcester where she worked for 20 years. Previously, she worked at Henry L. Hanson Co. in Worcester.
Her life was centered on her children and passion for caring for foster children. Over the years, Yvonne has welcomed numerous foster children into her home while providing a safe, warm, and nurturing environment. Everyone felt welcomed at her home. Every Tuesday baking day at the Moe residence where she would make a variety of cookies. She loved to knit and made several afghans for family and friends.
Yvonne and her husband Warren looked forward to their annual summer vacations in Lake George, NY. She also enjoyed dancing with Warren at the Frohsinn Club in Shrewsbury. She will be remembered for her tenacity and everlasting gift of kindness and as a loving role model.
Her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Summit Elder Care in Worcester and particularly to her caregiver Marie Claire Normil, for her compassionate, unparalleled, and professional care.
Yvonne's life will be honored and celebrated at a funeral service at 10 am on Thursday, August 3, at the First Congregational Church of Holden, 1180 Main St., Holden. Burial will follow at Howard Cemetery in Sutton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Yvonne's name to Children's Friends, Inc., 81 Hope Avenue, Worcester, MA 01609.
