HOLDEN - William (Bill) E. Wesolowski, passed peacefully at his home, Friday morning, January 19, 2018, with his devoted wife by his side, surrounded by the love of his family and God. William was born on May 4, 1937, to the late William W. and Felixia M. (Iwanowicz) Wesolowski in Windsor, MA. He is predeceased by his sister, Helen, and is survived by his brother, Robert. William is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 59 years, Jane (Kordana) Wesolowski and their children: Deborah Bennis of Florida; Susan Wesolowski of New Hampshire; Karen Wesolowski of Massachusetts; and Sharon and her husband Peter Wease of Portland, Oregon; and son-in-law Dan Bennis. Most of all, Bill was proud of his family, and was a loving grandfather ("Dziadziu") to his four wonderful grandchildren who were the sparkle of his eyes: Danielle Bennis, and Kalen, Kordan, and Etian Wesolowski-Wease. Bill graduated from Greenfield High School in 1954, and received his BS in Chemistry from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1958. He received his MS in Chemistry from Williams College in 1966. He spent many memorable summers at his family's Maple Grove Farm in Windsor, MA. William had a long and successful career as a development engineer. After graduating from WPI, he worked at Sprague Electric Company (Concord, NH; North Adams and Worcester, MA) until 1979. He then worked at MicroNetworks until recruited by Raytheon Company, where he enjoyed working for twenty years until his retirement in 2002. He was recognized with numerous awards, and was the published author of several patents and professional articles. He truly lived the joy of making and sharing new discoveries, ingenious inventions, and improving his character, relationships, and environment. Well-rounded, he enjoyed reading, gardening, sports, and was a fan of the Boston Celtics, Red Sox, and the NE Patriots. He was a great basketball player and athlete, including swimming, snorkeling, and canoeing. Bill was a former lector and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's. William's sincere desire was to remind each person to connect to his or her true real self, and express their divinity and gifts from God for the betterment of family, society, and world. William and his family express deep appreciation for the loving caregivers who became an extended part of the family, including Florence, Delilah, Hannah, and Anna, of Caring Stars; Bayada; and Margaret.
