WINCHENDON/RUTLAND - William S. Crow, 53, formerly of Rutland, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Healthcare Alliance Hospital in Leominster. William was born in Chicopee on April 6, 1961 and lived many years in Rutland before moving to Winchendon in 1994.
William is survived by his loving mother, Patricia A. (Strong) Crow of Rutland; a brother, Howard E. Crow, Jr. of Rutland; a sister, Linda D. Peterson of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a nephew, Timothy K. Peterson and his wife Carrie of Hope Mills, North Carolina; a great niece and nephew, Linda P. and Christian Peterson of Hope Mills; aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his father, Howard E. Crow.
William was a loving and compassionate son, brother, uncle and friend, and always willing to help others in need. He will be remembered for his gentle and kind nature and will forever remain in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with William's family from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden, followed by a funeral service honoring his life at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NAMI Central Massachusetts, Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, Room G189, 309 Belmont Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
