William E. Burns

FT. PIERCE, FL/WEST BOYLSTON -William E. Burns, 75, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 under the loving care of his family and the staff at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. Born and raised in Worcester, Bill was the son of William L. and Elizabeth T. (Sullivan) Burns and lived many years in West Boylston and later Sterling before moving to Florida in 2010. His beloved wife, Michelle (Jones) Burns died in 2011. He leaves two sisters, Barbara Roberti of Sterling and Maureen Bouvier of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, Andrew Langley of West Virginia and Alexandra Langley of Worcester; nephews and nieces. Besides his wife, Bill is predeceased by his daughter, Linda Lord who died in 2014. Relatives and friends are invited to honor Bill’s life by attending a Memorial Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, in the Chapel at Southgate at Shrewsbury, 30 Julio Dr., Shrewsbury. Burial will take place privately at Mountain View Cemetery in Shrewsbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA 01602.
