Biography
BARRE -Wilbert W. Lincoln, 87, died peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Athol Memorial Hospital. He was born in Worcester, the son of Leon P. and Marion L. (Day) Lincoln, and had lived in Barre for most of his life.
Wilbert is survived by his son, John N. Lincoln and wife Cathy of VA; his sister, Luella M. Hawley and her husband, Bradford F. of West Boylston; his brother, Ralph P. Lincoln of FL; four nieces; and his Dear friend, Charlotte Sanderson and her family. He was predeceased by his daughter, Beth A. Lincoln. Wilbert graduated from Barre High School with the class of 1949. He retired from Howard Products retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Barre Grange and had served as a Cemetery Commissioner for the Town of Barre.
A graveside service honoring and celebrating his life will be held at Lincoln Cemetery, Barre in the spring of 2018. Memorial contributions may be made to the Barre Historical Society, P.O. Box 755, Barre, MA 01005. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
