Biography

HARDWICK -- Warren E. Clark, Sr., 92, formerly of Barre, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2016 under the loving care of his family and the staff at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield. Born in Springfield, Warren was the son of Leroy M. and Irene M. (Allen) Clark and lived over 40 years in Barre before moving to Hardwick in 1983.
His wife, Emma (Adams) Clark died in 2008. He leaves five sons, Warren E. Clark, Jr. and his wife, Patricia and Stephen M. Clark and his wife, Bernice all of Barre, Paul S. Clark and his wife, Lori of York, PA, Jay S. Clark of Thetford, VT and Scott A. Clark of New Salem; four daughters, Sandra E. Clark and Joy S. Chadsey and her husband, Eric all of Kingman, AZ, Wendy E. Miller and Jennifer Wells both of Barre; a sister, Elizabeth Smith of St. Petersburg, FL; 23 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Besides his wife and parents, Warren is predeceased by a son, Kenneth W. Clark; two brothers, Howard and Harold Clark; and two sisters, Madeline Willey and Hazel E. Clough.
Warren attended Barre schools and honorably served his country in the United States Army during World War II. His served in the European African Theater of Operations and was stationed in Italy.  He later owned and operated Sunnydale Dairy Farm in Barre for over 25 years. He also worked for several area companies as a truck driver. He enjoyed playing the guitar, harmonica, yodeling, and listening to country music.
Warren's family will be gathering privately at their family farm in Barre to remember and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Quaboag Rehabilitation Activity Department, 47 Main Street, West Brookfield, MA 01585.
