WORCESTER/NAPLES, FL – Walter J. Nadolink, 93, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Naples, Florida after an illness. He was born in South Grafton, the son of John and Sophia (Migdal) Nadolink and had lived in Worcester before moving to Naples, Florida 27 years ago. He leaves three sons, John J. Nadolink and his wife, Marianne of Worcester, Walter G. Nadolink and his wife, Renee of Goodland, FL and Brian B. Nadolink of Brewster; his daughter, Patricia A. Archibald and her husband, Deacon Norbert of Worcester; five grandchildren, Kristina Porcelli and her husband, Gino, Erik Nadolink and his wife Aneta, Dr. Sarah Davis and her husband, Michael, Dr. Luke Archibald and his wife, Saeka and John Archibald and his wife, Ana; three great grandchildren, Mia Porcelli, Eliza Davis and Jesse Davis. He also leaves three special people, Hope Barrington and Huseyin and Pauline Sirt; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his fist wife, Olga (Waskiewicz) Nadolink, second wife, Shirley Nadolink and his fiancée, Helga Barrington; three brothers, Louis, Mitchell and Joseph Nadolink; and two sisters, Sally Giacomelli and Amelia Gendron. Walter graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and received a citation for bravery in the liberation of the Philippine Islands. After serving his country, Walter went to work at Wyman Gordon for 35 years and retired as a welding foreman. While working at Wyman Gordon, Walter attended classes at WPI. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Worcester and the Polish Club in South Grafton. He was a man of integrity, intellect and inspiration who enjoyed a good book, good fishing and a good story. He will be dearly missed.
