PAXTON – Walter J. Chenausky, Jr., 75, of Nanigian Road, died at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 15, 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann L. (Tataronis) Chenausky; his son, William W. Chenausky, Sr. and his wife Kim of Union, South Carolina; three daughters, Erica C. Bodden and her husband Patrick of Shrewsbury, Kirsten C. Jackson and her husband Thomas of Worcester and Dianna C. Cloherty and her husband Sean of Rockport; two brothers, Richard Chenausky of El Paso, Texas and William Chenausky of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister, Barbara Hiscock of North Orange; and eight grandchildren, William, Demi, Mike, Christos, Thomas Joseph, Mary Rose, Anna Rose and Seannie. A brother, Alphonse Chenausky, predeceased him.
Walter was born in Athol, a son of Walter J. and Jessie (Williams) Chenausky, Sr. He was raised in North Orange and was a graduate of Orange High School. He founded the Radio Shop at Worcester Airport and worked there along with his wife from 1973 to 2000. He held a pilot rating for single and multi-engine airplanes.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 17th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 18th, at Mooreland Cemetery, Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton.
