Biography
WORCESTER – Vivian S. (Schwartz) Isenberg, age 94, died on Saturday, May 27th at the Jewish Healthcare Center. Her husband of 50 years, Milton Isenberg, died in 1996. She leaves two sons, Richard J. Isenberg and his wife, Linda of Holden, and Robert Isenberg of Worcester; one granddaughter, Stephanie, wife of Ryan Tuohey of Southington, CT; and one great-granddaughter, Samantha Tuohey. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Sharon Isenberg; a brother, Harold; and her two sisters, Beatrice and Anne. She was born in Worcester and was a daughter of Samuel and Esther (Lipson) Schwartz and was a lifelong resident. For many years she was a salesperson of women’s clothing at Filene’s, Kennedy’s, Shirts Plus and Lane Bryant. She was a member of Temple Emanuel Sinai. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 10:00 AM ON MONDAY, MAY 29TH IN TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in Worcester Hebrew Cemetery in Auburn. Memorial Observance will be announced at the time of the funeral service. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
