BOYLSTON/STERLING – Vivian A. (Dahlstrom) Healy, 85, passed away peacefully at Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester on Thursday, April 26, 2018. She was the wife of the late Walter P. Healy who passed away in 1986. Vivian was born in Worcester and lived most of her life in Sterling. The daughter of Gunnar and Freda (Bergman) Dahlstrom. Vivian spent most of her life in Sterling where she and Walter raised their family. She enjoyed a long printing career at Norton Company and retired in 1998 after 36 years of service. Vivian was a member of the Sterling and West Boylston Senior Centers. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed snowmobiling, puzzles and knitting. She also loved to travel and enjoyed many trips to Australia, Russia, Sweden and Aruba as well as many other countries. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her son, Steven W. Healy and his wife, Donna of Leicester; her daughters, Tina A. Lorusso and her husband, Frank of Worcester, Lisa J. Nelson and her husband, John of Maine and Colleen M. Caracciolo and her husband, Craig of Phillipston; a brother, Roy Dahlstrom of Sterling; a sister, Judith Malcomson of Sterling; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. A graveside service honoring her life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 5 at Hillside Cemetery, Clinton Road, Sterling where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Walter. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
