PRINCETON – Viola (Breau) LaRoche, 86, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Blaire House in Worcester after an illness. She was born in St. Paul, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Daniel and Delia (Richard) Breau and had lived in Minto, New Brunswick, Canada and Whitinsville before moving to Princeton over twenty years ago.
Viola leaves her three daughters, Sandy Nunez and her husband, Jon of Princeton, Donna Courtemanche and her husband, Darrell of Longmont, CO and Mary Hopgood of Milford, NH; her son, David LaRoche and his wife, Terri of Alabama; her sister, Winnie Fairservice of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada; three grandchildren, Casey Nunez, Sara Courtemanche and Jason Nunez; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Roger Breault; and two sisters, Bertha and Florence.
Viola worked in customer service for House of Affirmation in Whitinsville and Allmerica in Worcester for several years before retiring in 1993. She was an active former member of Prince the Peace Church, past president of the Princeton Senior Citizens and was a volunteer for Hearts for Heat.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Viola’s family on Friday, June 22nd from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A private committal service will be held at the convenience of family.
