Victoria M. Murray

HOLDEN – Victoria M. Murray, 75, a lifelong Holden resident, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Westborough HealthCare Center. She was a daughter of Louis and Asenath (Pratt) Murray and a 1962 graduate of Holden High School. Victoria was a quality control inspector for 18 years and worked for several local companies including Reliant Cleaning Company where she worked for 9 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Holden and the Holden Senior Center. Victoria enjoyed knitting and could often be found knitting mittens to donate to those in need.She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her two brothers, Peter Murray and Robert Murray, both of Holden; two sisters, Claire Oliver of Leominster and Norma Welker of Rochester, NY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Victoria was predeceased by her sister, Faye L. Thibo.Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Victoria’s family from 2 to 3 pm on Saturday, April 28 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A memorial service honoring her life will follow at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holden Senior Center, 1370 Main Street, Holden, MA 01520.
