Vera M. (Carbone) Borci

HOLDEN – Vera M. (Carbone) Borci, 95, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
Her husband of 55 years, John J. Borci died in 1994. She leaves her daughter with whom she lived, Elizabeth E. Borci; a son, John P. Borci; and two grandchildren. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Felice and Clementine (Cararciollo) Carbone and has lived in Holden for 36 years. Vera was very artistic and loved to create beautiful thing which included making dresses. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling vicariously through her daughter.
Funeral arrangements are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, Attn: Development, 25 Shawmut Road, Canton, MA 02021. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
