WORCESTER – Todd M. Gibson, 41, of 8 Forestdale Road, died Friday, February 27, 2004, in Greenfield.
He leaves his mother, Martha A. (Seymour) Gibson of Rutland; a brother, Mark R. Gibson of West Kingston, Rhode Island; two nieces, Halley and Jenna Gibson both of West Kingston, Rhode Island. He was born in Holden, the son of the late Robert I. Gibson, and lived many years in Princeton.
Todd graduated from the Princeton Schools, Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, and attended Framingham State College and Wachusett Community College in Gardner. He worked for his father’s painting contracting business, Carl G. Bottcher and Sons, Inc. He later worked for Data Guide in Gardner. He was an excellent skier and coached racing at Mt. Sunapee in New Hampshire for the Handicap Skier’s Association. He played high school football and was an avid lover of outdoor sports including hiking and camping. Growing up in Princeton provided him with a love for our natural environment.
A memorial service for Todd will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2004, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Eastwood Cemetery in Lancaster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Princeton Public Library, 2 Town Hall Drive, Princeton, MA 01541.
