Todd Leo Bousquet, 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2024 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Raymond A. and Dorothy (Masiello) Bousquet.
Todd graduated from Burncoat High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He proudly served aboard the USS Constellation during the Vietnam era and earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. After returning home from military service Todd embarked on his career. He retired from Hanover Insurance Co. in 2017 as Vice President of Enterprise Risk Operations. During his retirement Todd served as a Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff. He was honored to have also served on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association, an organization very dear to him. In his leisure time Todd prioritized spending time with his family. He also loved to golf, read, grill and listen to Jimmy Buffet on the deck. Countless summers were spent at his cottage in Dennisport, MA or on the beautiful beaches of Sanibel, FL. He took great pride in caring for his home, his yard, and most of all, his family.
Todd is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Nancy (Balcom) Bousquet of Holden. Together, they created a beautiful family that includes their daughters, Heather Andrade and her husband, Carlos of Warwick, RI and Lauren Lindberg and her husband, Paul of Holden. He was a wonderful Pepe to his four grandchildren, Logan, Nina, Gavin Todd and Hayley. He shared a special bond with each of them that will be cherished forever.
He is also survived by his brother, Craig Bousquet of Ramona, CA; his sister, Bonnie Rossiter and her husband, John of Vero Beach, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews. Todd’s brothers, Wayne and Gary Bousquet were waiting for him at Heaven’s door.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 12-2 PM followed immediately by a funeral service at 2 PM on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
