WEST BOYLSTON - Timothy M. Roberts, 65, of West Boylston, died on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Born in Melrose and raised in Saugus, Tim was the son of Merton and Teresa (Powers) Roberts and lived in West Boylston since 1978.

Tim graduated from Lexington Christian Academy and was a mechanic by passion and profession. Tim met and fell in love with his future bride Olivia M. Santos at the Freedom Farm in Bolton, MA. They married in 1975 and later moved to West Boylston where they raised their seven children.

A devoted Christian and a member of Holden Chapel, Tim was his happiest when at home with his family. He cherished time spent with his wife, Olivia and their trips to Europe. He was proud of his children and their accomplishments and took great interest in all their activities. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and will be remembered for his ability to listen and provide kind, gentle counsel.

Along with his wife he leaves behind his four sons and a daughter: Timothy Jr. and wife, Kimberly, Ethan and wife, Lily, Joel and fiancé, Dr. Margaret Wilson-Murphy, Aaron and wife, Jacey, Daryl Allen and husband, Brian. He also leaves sisters, Elaine Teal and Carrie Turner; brothers, Steven, Dana, and Mark; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 17 nephews and nieces. Tim’s sons, Seth and Reuben, granddaughter, Sidney Allen, and brother, David, predeceased him.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m., both at Holden Chapel, 279 Reservoir Street, Holden, MA on Friday, November 21. A private burial will be held on Saturday at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in West Boylston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to World Vision, P.O. Box 9716, Federal Way, WA 98063; or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
