RUTLAND - Timothy W. Auger, 28, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Westborough. Born in Worcester on April 4, 1988, Tim lived most of his life in Rutland until recently moving to Hudson. He is survived and will be lovingly missed by his parents, Wayne T. and Dawn E. Auger of Rutland; his sister, Jessica L. Auger of Rutland; a maternal grandfather, Walter J. Flaherty of Rutland; a paternal grandmother, Shirley (Dunphy) Auger of Webster; 12 aunts and uncles; and 30 cousins. Tim was a 2006 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School in Holden and a 2011 graduate from Worcester State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He loved being outdoors and worked the last two years at a roofing company, Paul E. Dutelle & Co. in Newtonville. His interests included snowboarding, going fishing, playing softball, golf and pickup basketball. Tim's devotion to his family was the foundation of his actions - the anchor that defined and shaped his life. He possessed a true love for life and will be remembered for his engaging personality and ability to make friends wherever he went. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Tim's family from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, August 12, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service honoring Tim's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 13, at the funeral home.
