CHERRY VALLEY/PRINCETON – Thomas J. Lyons, 85, formerly of Princeton, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Born in Worcester, Tom was the son of Albert J. and Robella (Hurtubise) Lyons and lived most of his life in Princeton. His wife, Carol A. (Ramsey) Lyons died in 2014.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Lyons of Princeton and Todd Lyons of Cherry Valley; a daughter, Tina Giacobbi of Leicester; a step daughter, Donna Raibley of California; four grandchildren, Kylie, Haylee, Destinee and Bianca and four great grandchildren, Thomas, Lia, Annabella and Kayleb. He also leaves his dog, Roxy, who was his little pal.
Tom was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for 67 years. He worked 52 years for Worcester City Delivery. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, traveling and collecting truck models.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Tom’s family from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at South Cemetery at the intersection of Ball Hill Rd. and Brook Station Rd. in Princeton.
