OLDEN – Thomas D. Casey, 73, of Reservoir Street, passed away at home on Saturday, August 07, 2010.
He leaves his wife of 49 years, Julie E. (Callahan) Casey; a son, Thomas J. Casey and his wife Paula of Charlton; two daughters, Terry C. Carl and her husband Ric of Framingham and Diane C. Luong and her husband Michael of Worcester; a sister, Carol Casey-Leschke of Holden; three brothers, Charles Casey of Shrewsbury, Ralph Casey of Worcester and Michael Casey of CA; several nephews and nieces. Known as "Papa" he also leaves his four grandchildren, Meaghan, Chad, Derek and Ryan; two dogs, Nikko and Misha. Two brothers, John and Kenneth Casey, predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester the son of John and Marie (Campaniello) Casey and lived in Holden the past 40 years. Mr. Casey worked for Winter Hill Frozen Foods in Westborough for 25 years, retiring in 1996. Tom was an avid fantasy sports fanatic.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral for Thomas will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11th, in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
