HOLDEN – Therese I. (Gargolinski) Palmer, 69, died peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, with her loving family by her side. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Dowgert) Gargolinski.
Terry leaves her beloved husband of 42 years, Thomas Palmer; her three beautiful children, Christine Bonini and her husband, Paul, of Burlington, CT, Amy Michalowski and her husband, Tom, of Holden and Mark Palmer and his wife, Jenna, of Burrillville, RI; her ten cherished grandchildren, Jake, Andrew, Leah, Ava, Lilly, Claire, Rachel, Allie, Joe and Matthew; her brother, Paul Gargolinski and his wife, Cathy, of Holden; her brother, Joseph Gargolinski of Greenfield, and her brother-in-law Jack, husband of her late sister, Jeanne Powers, of Holden. She adored her many nieces, nephews, and extended family members as well.
She was a member of St. George’s Parish, Worcester, and had graduated from Anna Maria College in Paxton, and St. Mary’s High School in Worcester.
Terry was a dedicated homemaker who, in recent years, enjoyed hunting for and selling antiques at Oh My Gosh Antiques. She loved spending time with her family at the Cape house; digging for clams, playing mini-golf with the grandkids, and watching the sunset at the bay. She loved gardening and was always quick to volunteer her time helping anyone in need, but was most happy spending time with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Terry’s family on Monday, December 22, from 5-8 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A) Holden. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 23, from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
