PRINCETON - Theresa “Terry” Marie (Gaucher) Bouffard, 87, died peacefully at Sterling Village Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Terry was born in Worcester the daughter of Valmore X. and Marguerite E. (Roberts) Gaucher and lived there until 1990. At that time, Terry and her husband, Albert J. Bouffard moved to Princeton to their son’s home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert in 1998, by her son, Paul A. Bouffard in 2005, and by her grandson, Jeremy P. Bouffard, U.S. Army, who died in Iraq in 2007. She is survived by 3 sons, John “Jack” F. Bouffard and his wife, Linda currently of California, Stephen J. Bouffard and his wife, Paula of Westfield and Donald J. Bouffard and his wife, Gay of Princeton; a daughter-in-law, Jackie Bouffard of Norman, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, Nikki Bouffard Parrish, Robyn Bouffard Keller, Rebecca Bouffard Thrailkill, Caroline Bouffard, Jennifer Bouffard, Elizabeth Bouffard, Jonathan Bouffard, Maegan Bouffard Davis, Molly Bouffard, Theresa Bouffard Burdick, Amanda Bouffard and Andrew Bouffard; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Gaucher of Boylston; two sisters, Jeanine Benson of Worcester and Marguerite Pacheco of Sterling; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She is predeceased by 4 brothers, Paul Gaucher, Lee Gaucher, Conrad Gaucher and Gerard Gaucher and a sister, Collette Haubrick.
Terry was a member of the Prince of Peace Church in Princeton and for most of her life was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Worcester. She loved crafts, quilting and painting, but her true joy was spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, who enjoyed her grandchildren very much and hosting many family reunions over the years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3 - 6 p.m. on Friday, May 9th at the Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. The funeral service for Terry will be held on Saturday, May 10th from the funeral home with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Prince of Prince Church, 5 Worcester Road, Princeton.
