Terry worked 37 years for the Town of Sterling and was presently the assistant collector in the town treasurer’s office. She was considered the face of the Town Hall. Everyone looked to her for assistance as she often greeted everyone with a welcoming smile. Terry considered everyone she met a friend and always took a keen interest in their life story. She was generous of spirit and will always be remembered for her big heart and unconditional love.
Her daughters fondly remember the excitement of packing the family car and going on annual summer beach trips where they would camp and spend time at the beach. You were always welcome at the Murray home on Upper North Row Road. Many of Terry’s daughter’s friends considered her their second mother. Terry enjoyed going to her kids and grandkids sporting events or to concerts with her daughters, family, and friends. She was humble as much as she was proud of her family and enjoyed spending her days surrounded by all the love. Although some memories may fade over time, Terry’s beautiful soul will live on forever in our hearts.
