Theresa Ann (Bengyak) Mahimtura

WORCESTER – Theresa (Bengyak) Mahimtura, age 48, died peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, surrounded by the loving presence of her family.

Born in Queens, New York, Theresa was the daughter of Frank and Darlene (Rondinone) Bengyak.

Theresa will be lovingly missed and remembered by her sons, Joshua Lebese of Northborough, David Lebese of Clinton, Ryan and Jacob Mahimtura, of Hudson; her mother, Darlene Tisdell and stepfather John of Rutland; her sister, Lisa Flynn and her husband, Shaun, and their children, Caitlin and Jack, of Rutland; and her aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Frank E. Bengyak in 1986.

Although Theresa spent most of her adult years caring for her children, she worked for Verizon Wireless and Addiction Referral Center. She was a true “boy mom” and being their mom was her proudest accomplishment.

Theresa’s family and friends will gather to honor her life with Calling Hours at 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 8 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.
