STERLING – Theresa B. (Burke) Roseberry, 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Radius Healthcare Center at Worcester after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Neree L. Roseberry; two sons, Rene L. Roseberry of Barre and his children Michael and Kyle, and Henry J. Roseberry of Sterling and his children Kelly, Kristy, Kasey and Owen; a daughter, Jean T. Pray of Sterling and her children Kayla and Joseph; two great-granddaughters, Brooke and Alaina; and many nephews and nieces. Her son, Lawrence “Larry” R. Roseberry passed away in May and her brother, Norman Burke passed away in December.
Theresa was born in Worcester, the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Perry) Burke and had lived in Sterling for over 50 years. She owned and operated the family business, Need Pump Company in Sterling for 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, trips to Foxwoods and her dogs. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all.
Theresa’s family would like to thank the staff at Summit ElderCare, and her friends and family for their care and compassion during her illness.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 9, at 10 a.m. in St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge Street, Sterling. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Clinton Road (Rte. 62), Sterling. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summit ElderCare, Activities Fund, 277 East Mountain Street, Worcester, MA 01606. Arrangements are under the care of Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
