Theresa "Terry" M. (Garon) Bolduc

January 26, 1943 — July 9, 2022

WORCESTER - Theresa (Terry) Marie Bolduc, died on July 9, 2022, following a long illness worsened by COVID, with her daughters by her side.

Born in Worcester, MA on January 26,1943, to Thomas and Albia (Beaulac) Garon, Terry spent all her life in the Worcester area. She attended St Joseph’s Catholic School and graduated from Worcester Girls Trade. She and her brothers and sister were fun-loving and shared stories about their adventures with the nuns, and how daredevil Terry would roller-skate backwards down the hills of the Mt. St. Anne orphanage where their parents worked.

Terry leaves her daughters, Pamela Vezina Taylor and her partner, Hans Berg, and Laurie Vezina-Desmarais and her husband, Brian; her sister, Lorraine Beauchesne of Bear, Delaware, her two beloved grandchildren, Adam Taylor and Laurel Taylor and longtime companion Dennis Twiss. She was pre-deceased by her parents; her ex-husband Gerard Vezina; husband Robert Bolduc; and brothers, Bernard Garon and Thomas Garon.

Terry delighted in her “two beautiful daughters” and spending time with them, talking, listening to music, and playing gin rummy. She exemplified kindness and grace and was unwavering in her support of her family.

Terry worked for many years as a hairdresser at Jean Paul Coiffures in Leicester, Richard’s Golden Door, and George’s Coiffures, in downtown Worcester. Always fashion forward, Terri gave Pam and Laurie pixie cuts in the 60s, and shags in the 70s. She later became the in-house hairdresser in many area nursing facilities and rehabs where she got great pleasure and satisfaction by making the residents feel cared for and beautiful or handsome.

Terry was an accomplished artist and seamstress, and often made beautiful clothes for the girls that were admired by both friends and strangers. When asked where they got their stylish, and of course matching culottes, dresses, or coats, the girls would reply, “My mommy made them for us!”

Terry always had a word of encouragement, a pun, or a joke, and she will be remembered for her charm and wit. Her family was incredibly lucky to have had her in their lives.
