RUTLAND – Pauline T. (Belanger) Nylin, 82, of Christmas Tree Lane, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 in the Merriman House, North Conway, New Hampshire, after an illness.
Her husband of 39 years, Robert H. Nylin died in 1989. She leaves her son, Robert A. Nylin and his wife Donna of Bartlett, New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Joshua Nylin and Katie Hardy, both of New Hampshire; and five great-grandchildren. She was born in Winchendon, a daughter of Emile and Alvinia (Roy) Belanger, and lived in Rutland for over 55 years before moving to Bartlettt, NH to live with her son in 2008. She was a graduate of Murdock High School.
Pauline was a nurse’s assistant at the Devereux School in Rutland for 30 years, retiring in 1975. Previously she worked at the Veteran’s Hospital and Rutland Heights Hospital. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Friends of the Rutland Council on Aging and AARP.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 10 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a funeral service at noon on Wednesday, January 27th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of the Rutland Council on Aging, 250 Main Street, Rutland, MA 01543.
