WEST BOYLSTON – Claire T. (Baldarelli) Harris, 89, formerly of West Boylston, died Sunday, April 1, 2007 in the Westborough Healthcare Center, after an illness.
Her husband of 53 years, Howell R. Harris, died in 1996. She leaves her sons, Robert H. Harris of Charlton and Michael L. Harris of Southboro; two brothers, Evo L. Baldarelli of Sterling and Richard E. Baldarelli of Northborough; 10 beloved and cherished grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. A brother, Wallace E. Baldarelli, Sr. and her sister, Florence A. Brinck, predeceased her. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Louigi and Attilia (Pompelli) Baldarelli, and lived in West Boylston for 70 years.
Mrs. Harris was a graduate of West Boylston High School. She was an active member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and it’s Women’s Club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
The funeral for Mrs. Harris will be held on Wednesday, April 4th, from the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, West Boylston. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3rd, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Memorial Fund, 111 Worcester Street (corner of Rte. 12 & 140), West Boylston, MA 01583.
