WORCESTER – Tamara Priborkina, age 84, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Brookside Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Webster after a period of declining health.
Born in Bubruisk, she was the daughter of Yankel and Malka (Godin) Priborkin, and “adopted” by Raphael and Ida (Godin) Shapiro. Tamara earned a Master’s Degree in Music and worked as a Music Teacher for many years. She came to Worcester in 1994 along with several other family members.
Tamara will be lovingly missed and remembered by her brother, Leonid Shapiro; her beloved nieces and nephews, including Rita and Nina Shapiro; and many dear friends.
Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 2nd at B’nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John’s Road, Worcester. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
