T Majken (Olson) Johanson

HOLDEN – T. Majken (Olson) Johanson, 91, of 95 Powers Road, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, in Holden Nursing Home.
Her husband of 59 years, Fritz E. Johanson, died in 2002. She leaves her niece, Janet L. Sundquist of Rutland; a sister-in-law, Ellen Schwartz of Jefferson; a great-nephew and two great-nieces. A brother, Eric V. Olson, a sister, Asta V. Arnberg, and a niece, Cheryl B. Breault, predeceased her.
She was born in Hoganas, Sweden, daughter of Ragnar O. and Olga (Lundgren) Olson, and has lived in Holden for 50 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the VASA Order Quinsigamond Lodge #517. She was past president of the Holden Hospital Auxillary Women’s Club, and a former member and Class B Champion at Worcester County Club.
A private graveside service for Mrs. Johanson will be held at All Faith’s Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, 4 Whitmarsh Avenue, Worcester, MA 01606. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
