HOLDEN – Susan G. (Oatway) Foley-Robinson, 43, of Shrewsbury Street, died in Worcester on Thursday, May 14, 2009.
She leaves her sons, Stephen M. Foley and Richard Xavier Robinson both of Worcester; a step-daughter, Amber Robinson of Lexington, SC; her mother, Karen H. (Hubert) Becker and her husband Paul of Holden; her father, Michael E. Oatway of Boca Raton, FL; her sister, Lisa Larson and her husband Kenneth of Jefferson; nieces and nephews including Allie and Joe Larson of Jefferson; aunts, uncles, cousins and her former in-laws, Bernie and Joan Foley of Worcester. Sue was predeceased by her first husband, Stephen C. Foley. She also leaves her former husband Richard Robinson, and many friends who loved her dearly.
Sue was born on February 27, 1966 in Glen Falls, New York, attended Doherty Memorial High School and graduated from Becker College. She worked for many years in child care including the Great Brook Valley Child Care Services and Access Future Child Care Center, both in Worcester. She taught CPR at the American Red Cross and was a Certified EMT for a time. At the time of her death, she was employed by Legal Assistance Corp.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 18th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral service for Sue will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19th in the funeral home with burial following in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the American Red Cross of Central MA, Remillard Building, 2000 Century Drive, Worcester, MA 01606; or the Abby Kelley Foster House, 52 High Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
