HOLDEN - Steven Sudar, 84, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester following a period of declining health. He was born in Hungary, a son of the late Irme and Katalin (Fulop) Sudar. Steven settled in the Worcester area in the 1950’s. He retired from the George J. Meyer Manufacturing Company, where he was a machinist. Steven loved sports and particularly enjoyed following European Cup soccer. He also enjoyed 10 pin bowling and spent many hours on the lanes. He leave his two sons, Stephen E. Sudar and his wife, Sherry of Millbury and Peter J. Sudar; his five grandchildren including, Brittany, Kyle and Ross Sudar; his former wife, Maria (Harcz) Sudar of Holden; as well as his sister, Maria Torma of Hungary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 8, at 10 a.m. at St. George Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Holden. There are no visiting hours.
