HOLDEN - Stephen Bennett Rudner, 78, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, surrounded by the loving presence of his family. Born in Worcester, Steve was the son of Aaron and Ruth (Cohen) Rudner and was a lifelong resident of Central Massachusetts.
Steve was a highly skilled motorcycle mechanic, working for decades at the family business, Archie’s Motorcycle Sales and Service, Inc.
Steve will be lovingly missed and remembered by his devoted wife of 53 years, Doreen (Alter) Rudner; his sons, David Rudner, Michael Rudner, and Barry Rudner and his wife, Sarah; his daughter, Bobbi Lynn Rudner; his sister, Ilene Hoffman; and his cherished grandchildren, Eva, Leah, Emilee, Alexis and Evan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Funeral Service at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 1st at Holy Society Cemetery, Havana Road, Leicester. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden. Immediately following the Interment Service, the family invites everyone to a Memorial Observance Reception at the family home. Memorial Observance will continue on Saturday evening from 7:30—9:30 PM, Sunday 1:00—4:00 PM and 7:00—9:00 PM, and additional observances to be announced.
Steve’s family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all of the ladies from Worcester Home Care for their loving care and compassionate dedication during Steve’s illness.
