Biography
WORCESTER – Stephan “Shlomo” Rubinstein, age 78, died suddenly on July 5th at his residence.
He leaves his sister, Joan Urdan of Milwaukee, WI; his special niece, Jennifer Urdan and his special nephews, Jonathan (Jennifer Gonsky) and Jeffrey (Carolyn Sporn) Urdan; grand-nieces, Margaret, Talia and Avery Urdan; and a grand-nephew, Max Urdan; and many other relatives and friends. He will be missed.
He was born in Worcester and was a son of Max and Sarah (Rudnick) Rubinstein and was a lifelong resident.
He graduated Harvard cum laude in 1960. He owned and operated real estate.
He was a member of the Jewish Healthcare Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, July 8th in the Beth Israel Synagogue on Jamesbury Drive, Worcester under the direction of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden. Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery.
Memorial Observance will be announced at the time of the funeral.
