HOLDEN - Stanley A. Jarosz , 87, of Jefferson, passed peacefully on November 19, 2017 at home with his family after a long illness. He was born in Newark, New Jersey, spent his childhood in Irvington and raised his family in Kenilworth both in New Jersey. Stanley was the loving husband to his wife, Doris, for 65 years. He joins their daughter, Debbie, in Heaven, whom they lost when she was very young. Stanley is survived by his three sons; Stanley and his wife, Karen of Jefferson, James and his wife, Lori of Howell, New Jersey and John and his fiancée, Deanna of Leominster. He was the dear grandfather to seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Brian, Lisa, Courtney, James, Lexie, Kelsey and her husband, Nicholas, Jennifer and her husband, Tyson and their two children, Wyatt and Ryan. Stanley served in the U.S. Army and reserves for eleven years. He worked for Bendex Corporation as a draftsman and designed aeronautic and aerospace instruments. He enjoyed baseball, coached his sons in little league, and always read the sports section of the newspaper from cover to cover. His family and friends will truly miss his great sense of humor, wonderful personality and big smile. They would like to extend their gratitude to Bayada Home Healthcare and a special thanks to Dulce. The incredible stories he told will live on in their hearts forever. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Stanley's family from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a Service of Remembrance at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
