PAXTON/WORCESTER - Spyridon "Spiro" Stolakis, 65, passed away at home in Paxton on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was born on December 20, 1951 and raised in Worcester, a son of Greek immigrants, Sotirios and Varvara (Ntoutsis) Stolakis. He leaves his sister-in- law, Linda Stolakis, nephews, nieces and many cousins. He was predeceased by his two brothers, George and Christos Stolakis and two sisters, Katherine and Chrysanthe Stolakis. Though Spyridon always faced life challenges, his family and the staff at the Seven Hills Foundation, especially the Paxton house, gave him the support and dignity which enabled him to thrive and be happy. He enjoyed warm sunny days at the park, playing bingo, bowling and listening to music. Most of all he loved the day program at the Seven Hills Foundation. Spyridon was a member of Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Spryo's Funeral Service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 102 Russell Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street, Worcester. There will be no calling hours.
