HUBBARDSTON/STERLING - Sidney Joy Allen, 3, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 14, 2013, while vacationing with her family in NH. She was born in Worcester on February 4, 2010 and was the precious daughter of Brian E. and Daryl L. (Roberts) Allen.
Sidney was a unique and cherished blessing to her family and will be deeply missed by all. She enjoyed life well, playing with her siblings and the children in her church family. She recently finished her first year in the AWANA “Puggles” program at the Heritage Bible Chapel. She always made everyone laugh and she danced like no one was watching. She spent her days keeping up with her older siblings and their big-girl activities and it brought her great joy. Her eyes sparkled with every new experience and discovery. She loved to snuggle and to be held like a baby and proudly held the title as the baby of the family.
Besides her parents, Sidney is survived by her brothers and sisters, Chad, Benjamin, Jessica, Lauren, Maggie and Kelsey; her grandparents, Timothy M. Roberts and his wife Olivia of West Boylston, Mary (Grubb) McFarland and her husband David of Cushing, ME, Bruce J. & Joanne (Hawn) Allen of Pittsburg, PA; 10 aunts and uncles, 24 cousins, 2 nieces and 3 nephews who will all greatly miss Sidney and treasure the 3 years she was part of their lives.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Heritage Bible Chapel, 182 Brooks Station Road, Princeton, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 19.
