HUDSON/HOLDEN – Sharon P. Harrington-Brumleve, 48, of 6 Gately Avenue, Hudson, formerly of Holden, died peacefully at home in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, after a battle with cancer.
She leaves her daughter, Charlotte A. Brumleve of Northampton; her mother, Barbara A. (Lucey) Harrington of Holden; five brothers, Michael J. Harrington of Jefferson, Barry E. Harrington of Webster, Patrick J. and Joseph D. Harrington, Jr. both of Holden, and Brian D. Harrington of Wells, Maine; six sisters, Barbara J. Casaceli of Hudson with whom she lived, JoAnn D. Audette of Holden, Judith M. Brosnihan and Joyce A. Golden both of Worcester, Janice M. Kavanagh of Wells, Maine, and Karen L. Adomaitis of Barre.
Sharon was born and raised in Holden, the daughter of the late Joseph D. Harrington, Sr., and lived six years in Chicopee before recently moving to Hudson. She was a graduate of Marion High School, Fitchburg State College and was a registered nurse.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a service, officated by The Rev. Sheree A. Harrington, at 12 noon on Monday, October 30, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The family suggests donations in Sharon’s memory be made to the American Lung Association of Massachusetts, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
