Sharon L. (Horton) Reardon
October 23, 1943 — March 9, 2015
WEST BOYLSTON – Sharon L. (Horton) Reardon, 71, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital after an illness. She was born in Reno, Nevada, the daughter of Carlos and Violet (Frost) Horton and had lived in Duluth, MN, Worcester and Shrewsbury before moving to West Boylston in 1994.
She leaves her loving husband of 44 years, Daniel L. Reardon, whom she met at Lake Tahoe, Nevada in 1970; a son, Joseph T. Reardon of Worcester; a brother, Jack Horton of Rushford, MN; a sister, Claudette Horton of North Highlands, CA; a granddaughter, Kamryn Reardon of Reeds, MO; several nephews and nieces; and her cats, Guy and Niki.
Sharon graduated from Denfeld High School in Duluth, MN and was a health aid for many years at McGinnis Healthcare in Worcester before retiring due to her illness in 2002. She enjoyed long walks and traveling with her husband to San Antonio, TX and Hampton Beach.
Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in Sharon’s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
