RUTLAND - Severine “Sue” M. (Cormier) Leger, 91, died Saturday, June 11, 2005, in the St. Francis Home, Worcester.
Her husband of 57 years, Leon H. Leger, died in 1995. She leaves a daughter, Brenda M. Werme and her husband Paul W. of Hubbardston; a sister, Eva Bilodeau of Rutland; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a great great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. A son, Larry L. Leger, a sister, Georgina Dick, and two brothers, Oscar and Emile Cormier, predeceased her. She was born in Renauld Mill, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Arcade and Evangeline (Cormier) Cormier and lived in West Boylston and Zephyrhills, Florida, for many years before moving to Rutland.
Mrs. Leger was a baker in the West Boylston High School Cafeteria for 15 years.
The funeral for Mrs. Leger will be held on Wednesday, June 15, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 290 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, in the funeral home.
