Worcester/Rutland - Sergio Gerald Kristoff, 43, died Friday, January 14, 2022, after a lifelong battle with drug addiction.
Serg was raised in Sterling/Rutland by his loving parents, Jerry, and Debbie Kristoff of Rutland. He leaves his brothers, Keith Brodeur, Jamie Brodeur, Jason Kristoff, Jeff Kristoff, and Dan Hill. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Fred, and Ginger Voisinet who made sure Serg grew up with a family that gave him opportunities and that they remained a part of his life.
Serg was a proud graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical High School. He enjoyed driving his fishing boat around the lake, snowmobiling everywhere around town, and doing everything he could on the family farm. Nothing brought him more joy than helping his best friend and Dad, "D", by spending days stacking hay, working with the farm trucks, cleaning out horse stalls, organizing the garage, and driving a tractor through the fields. Over the years Serg enjoyed working for Lazy Day Farm, Sons of Kristoff, as a driver for the Salvation Army, and many other local businesses.
Serg struggled with alcohol and drug addiction from an early age. While his life is over far sooner than it should have been, his family knows he wouldn't have made it this long without the support of many friends, family, and programs over the years that did the best they could to give him a chance.
Services will be private and held at a future date. Those who wish to contribute in Serg's memory may consider donating to the Dismas House of Worcester to support Dismas Family Farm in Oakham or other local organizations that help people struggling with addiction. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. To share a memory or offer an online condolence, please visit
