PRINCETON – Willard Scott Waterhouse, 68, of Calamint Hill Road South, died peacefully in his home on Friday, May 8, 2009.
Some of the words that could be used to best describe Willard were kind, gentle, patient, warm, and funny. Willard, or Skip as many came to know him, loved being by the ocean, whether on the beach in Jamaica or on his sailboat. You might find him tinkering with his car or taking care of the horses he loved deeply. Skip played many roles. He was Husband, Father, Salesman, Soldier, and Business Owner (New England Tag Finishing Service). Skip loved and cared for the many people in his family-- his wife Viviane, his mother Edythe (Jane), his sisters Lorna and Bonnie, his children Lincoln and Jackie, his grandchildren Sophie, Alden, Noah, and Shawn, and the "out-laws" Bill, Matthew, Iona, and Dennis. Willard was a man who was loved by many people. We will miss you Willard. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to Summit Elder Care, 55 Cinema Blvd., Leominster, MA 01453, care of The Garden Fund.
A private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Princeton. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
