Biography
HOLDEN – Scott J. Elms, 15, of Holden, “a boy with a huge heart and a sweet kindness about him”, passed away at home on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Scott was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on November 11, 1999, and lived the last 12 years of his life in Holden.

He leaves his father with whom he lived, Eric A. Elms; his mother, Paloma Perez Welsch of Barcelona, Spain; his sister, Jessica M. Elms of Holden; a maternal grandmother, Brigitte Welsch of Barcelona; five uncles, Brian Elms of Hawaii, Paul Elms of California, Marco, Paco, and Alberto Perez Welsch all of Barcelona; and several cousins.

Scott was a freshman at Wachusett Regional High School in Holden. He loved any outdoor activities including riding his bike. He enjoyed learning new songs on his guitar and playing for his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Scott’s family from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, at the First Congregational Church of Holden, 1180 Main St., Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Scott’s name to the Wachusett Greenways, P.O. Box 121, Holden, MA 01520, or www.wachusettgreenways.org .
