PAXTON – Sandra “Sandy” L. (Fancy) Fantelli, 67, of 21 Cutler Road, died peacefully in her husband’s arms at home on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 46 years, Robert J. Fantelli; four daughters, Lynn P. Fantelli of Worcester, Lorie A. Gallagher of Millbury, Lisa J. Fantelli of West Danville, Vermont, and Laurel M. Woods of Charlton; a brother, Carl C. Fancy Jr. of Suffield, Connecticut; and seven grandchildren. She was born in Chelmsford, the daughter of Carl C. and Margaret (Trevors) Fancy, Sr., and lived in Biddeford, Maine, 20 years in Northborough, and later lived in Brewster before moving to Paxton two years ago. She was a graduate of Biddeford High School.
Mrs. Fantelli was an avid reader and loved square dancing. She enjoyed arts and crafts, particularly cross-stitching, knitting and ceramics. She was a member of Christ The King Church in Worcester.
The funeral Mass for Mrs. Fantelli will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, in Christ The King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
