TAMWORTH, NH / WORCESTER, MA - Sandra L. Mallett, 73, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Tamworth on Friday, August 9, 2013. She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Andrew G. and Elizabeth “Betty” (Matthew) Marshall.
Sandy was predeceased by her husband, Edmund Mallett in November, 1997. She is survived by her mother, Betty Marshall of Sterling; her brother, Alan Marshall of Sterling; her sons, Edmund Mallett of Manassas, Virginia and Geoffrey Mallett of Fairlee, Vermont; and her three adoring grandchildren, Piper, Jack and Colby.
An avid skier, golfer and sailor, Sandy lived and shared a full life with her husband, Ed. When not golfing, she and Ed could always be found on breezy summer days, under full-sail, on Lake Winnipesaukee. Sandy was the founding Mother and First Lady of the Penguin Ski Club in Lincoln, New Hampshire for 5 years. She was also the Women’s Club Champion in 1977 at the Indian Mound Golf Club in Ossipee, New Hampshire, where she also worked rewardingly and played golf hard and well for many years.
Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter and Aunt, we all miss you dearly. May you rest eternally in blessed peace.
