RUTLAND - Sandra A. (Larson) DeLoriea, 59, of Rutland passed away at home on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 after a battle with cancer, with her adoring husband by her side.
Sandy was born in Worcester on July 18, 1958 to Arthur and Laura Larson. She graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School in Worcester in 1976. She lived in Worcester until 1996 when she moved to Rutland. Sandy enjoyed spending time traveling and being with friends and family, especially her granddaughters.Relatives and friends are invited to join Sandy's family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 20, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A funeral service honoring her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The National Kidney Fund, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 and The Lung Cancer Research Foundation, 155 East 55th Street, Suite 6H, New York, NY 10022.
