Sandra J. (Lapery) Sansoucy

October 9, 1946 — February 24, 2012

PAXTON – Sandra J. (Lapery) Sansoucy, 65, of West Street in Paxton, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Saint Vincent Hospital after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard L. Sansoucy; two sons, James M. Sansoucy and his wife Lara of Auburn and Michael R. Sansoucy and his wife Linda of Wrentham; her mother, Simone G. (VanVreckem) Lapery of East Haven, CT; her sister, Linda Lapery-Criscuolo and her husband Anthony of East Haven, CT; and five grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Mark, Hailee, Lily, Hannah and Ava. She was predeceased by her Father, James C. Lapery.

Sandra was born in Bilzen, Belgium and moved to the United States with her parents in 1947. She was raised in Worcester, graduated from North High School in 1965 and went onto study at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital to earn her certification as an EEG technician.

Sandra loved life especially time spent with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 2, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, at St. Columba Church, 18 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. Burial will be private in Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 West Evergreen Avenue, Suite 204, Chicago, IL 60642, or www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org .
