Sandra N. (Blum) Williams

HUBBARDSTON - Sandra N. (Blum) Williams, 63, formerly of Rutland and Holden, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Mass General Hospital in Boston after an illness.
Her husband, Kenneth M. Williams passed away in 2012. She leaves two daughters, Shelley Eckert of Hubbardston and Jodi Eckert of Jefferson; a son, Joseph Eckert of Fitchburg; a sister, Carol Soucy of Rutland; three grandchildren, Zachary Eckert, Ian Eckert and Elizabeth Smola; and nephews and nieces.
Sandra was born in Holden, the daughter of Elmer and Helen (Wilson) Blum and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School. She was a waitress for 32 years at Mount Pleasant Country Club in Boylston retiring in 2010.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A celebration of life for Sandra will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
