Ryan D. Weldon

WORCESTER - Ryan D. Weldon, age 37, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at UMass Memorial Hospital – University Campus. Born in Worcester, the son of Donald E. and Donna F. (Barber) Weldon.
Ryan grew up in Princeton and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School, class of 2004. He worked for over 10 years at Design Temperature Control, Inc. in Boylston as an HVAC technician. The family would like to thank Terry Talkington for bringing him into the company and teaching him everything about the trade.
In his youth, he enjoyed snowboarding at Wachusett Mountain and BMX at the former Rutland Skate Park. Ryan also loved mountain biking at Mt. Snow Vermont, where he raced amateur downhill. He loved his Chevrolet Colorado truck, his vast collection of vinyl records, and his beloved dog, Kowi. Ryan loved his family. He looked forward to Sunday gatherings at his parents’ house where they'd enjoy watching sports and movies together. In the summer months, he enjoyed beach trips to Cape Cod, where he spent time visiting friends and enjoyed collecting sea glass.
Besides his parents, Ryan is survived by his brother, Kyle Weldon of Gardner; his aunts and uncles, Karen and David Drohan, Robert and Francine Weldon; his cousins, Justin and Joshua Drohan; and his longtime friend, Christina Berger.
