Ryan W. Granahan

February 19, 1978 — September 18, 2021

West Chester, PA - Ryan William Granahan, a loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17th at the age of 43.

Ryan was born on February 19, 1978, in Worcester, Massachusetts, to William and Constance Anne (Shea) Granahan. He grew up in Holden, MA surrounded by his loving family and many friends that adored him. He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, and attended Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Ryan began his career at a private mortgage and finance company in NJ. Most recently he moved to West Chester, PA, to be close to his brother, sister-in-law, and his two beautiful nieces (who he truly adored!) and a new career at Ally Bank.

Ryan was a kind, loving, intelligent, and wonderful man with a great sense of humor. His family, music, the ocean, and his most recent career with Ally Bank were the focus of his life. Ryan was an avid reader, was politically astute, and was meticulous about himself, his home and, of course, his car. Ryan wore his heart on his sleeve, was unselfish and generous with his love, and always wanted the very best for everyone in his life. Ryan leaves a deep void in our life but that void is filled with many wonderful and proud memories!

Ryan’s death was preceded by his mother, Constance. He is survived by his father, Bill, his two brothers, Kevin and Matthew, as well as his sister-in-law Shannon, his nieces Brooklyn and Reese, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, September 25th, from 10 am to 11:30 am at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St, Holden, MA. A brief prayer and blessing will start at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester, MA. In lieu of flowers, Ryan would love for you to purchase a bracelet from Love Is Project ( www.loveisproject.com ). LOVE is the single, most important, and common thread that connects all of us together - and to Ryan.
