Ruth V. Fernberg

Sterling/Princeton - Ruth V. Fernberg, 81, died peacefully surrounded by her loving friends at Pheasant Hollow Group Home on Friday, September 17, 2021. Ruth was born in Worcester and was raised and lived most of her life in Sterling.

Ruth was a gentle and caring person with a special appreciation for all living things. She especially loved animals and spending time with children. Ruth enjoyed making special treats for her friends' pets in the shape of bones and was delighted to see how happy her furry friends were to eat them. Ruth also enjoyed cheering on the Red Sox with her friends and she will be dearly missed.

Ruth will be lovingly missed and remembered by her close friends; Diana, Peter and Dorothy; as well as her other friends and caregivers on her Pheasant Hollow Team.

Friends are invited to gather for a graveside service honoring and celebrating Ruth's life at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Route 62, Sterling. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling.
